    Once upon a time milk was delivered door to door!
Divco trucks were the king of the home delivery market because they were easy to get in and out of as the driver ran the bottles to the door in the wee hours of the morning. These were used in parades and other publicity stunts by daries and some other companies to attract attention. the Divco trucks were made by Amroc the same company that took over the manufacturing of the Desoto Firemite bodies when the original vacuum formed plastic bodies failed miserably during delivery. Amroc was able to make fiberglass bodies for Robel who finished making the mini Desoto. Amroc made other mini cars that had stylized sports car bodies also but you will have to go to THIS SITE for information on the Desoto with the fiberglass bodies the divo trucks and OFFYETTE RACER, OFFYETTE SPORTSTER and the Junior Sports Car Body

I have been able to gather a heck of a lot more images of Divcos since the last update. So many that I am going to add a misc images page instead of stacking them on the sides of the page. Actually I think I will try to keep most of the vintage images on the main page and have the Misc images page for the current photographs.
