Doing body work and getting ready to paint. A few question on final look

1. The body I am using was filled in by previous owner; I need to re-scroll the body door, hood and trunk lines. How wide and deep should I make the scroll line before applying primer and paint?

2. Front turn signals, are they painted or is there a lens available for them? I painted what paint color should be used

3. Rear back up lights (same questions as above)

4. The body I am using was filled in by previous owner; I need to re-scroll the body (door, hood and trunk lines). How wide and deep should I make the scroll line before applying primer and paint?

'Assuming' 56's are the same as your 55,

1) I can get you the width and depth of the scroll lines from my car.

2) Mine were painted white, with a silver trim ring. Attached picture

3) Looks to be painted solid white. Attached picture

4) see #1 ;)

Thanks for the input

I will most likely not re-scroll the body as removing the body filler without further damage the body has proven to be a challenge.

I am currently working on filling all the small crack in the fiberglass

I am getting close to painting the car. I have transfer decals. The question is should I put he decals on before the clear coat or after?
