58 Plymouth

Does anyone have any suggestions for what type of paint to use
to make whitewall tires on black rubber tires? I could also use
a wiring diagram for a 58 Plymouth. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks, Tom

There is probably no difference in the wiring diagram from the 58 to this one from 1965

I don't believe that most use paint on the tires? I think they make a Vinyl applique

Lee, thanks for the info-much appreciated. I tried to paint 1 wheel
with a spray can of flex white but it turned yellow as it dried. Do
you know where to get appliques? Thanks again for your help.

I worked in the autoparts buisness for a number of years. We sold a whitewall tire paint specifically for tires. It has to remain flexable and not crack or chip off, therefore other paints may come up short in your efforts. I reccomend Ranger Tire Paint. It is a fine product and works beyond expectations.

Don,
Thanks for the reply. I tried using Kilz but was not happy with
the results. I"ll give this stuff a try. Thanks again.
